Episodes came from being caught between a rock and a hard place, both personally and professionally. The work sits in self-portraiture and performance for the camera, using the body as a way to process what was happening in real time.
In 2025 I was working full time while also undertaking a full-time Masters in photography. The pace of that year shaped the work. Making images became a form of catharsis, a way to keep moving through it.
The series first lived on social media. Each post followed a simple naming structure Episodes001, 002, with images unfolding within an episode until a mental health crash marked a shift and the start of the next. The structure wasn’t planned; it formed out of necessity.
Since coming out of that period, and stopping daily propranolol, no new season or episode has been confirmed. The work remains open, held in that space between continuation and pause.
